Refunds and billing
The shortest page on the site, because there is nothing to charge you for.

MergeWise is free while it is in beta.
No card, no plan, no trial that becomes a bill. Nothing has been charged, so there is nothing to refund.
1. Today
- Every feature in MergeWise is free to every account.
- We do not ask for card details, and there is nowhere in the app to enter them.
- There is no free trial, because there is no paid thing for it to become.
- If you ever see a charge from us, it is not us. Write to [support email] and tell your bank.
2. When paid plans arrive
MergeWise will need to pay for itself eventually. When that happens, here is exactly how it will go, and these are commitments, not intentions.
- No silent charging. A free account never turns into a paid one by itself. You will have to actively choose a plan and enter payment details. If you do nothing, nothing happens.
- At least 30 days notice by email before any plan goes live, saying what will cost money, how much, and what stays free.
- Your data stays yours in the meantime. If you decide not to pay, your account is not locked and your records are not held hostage. At minimum you will be able to read everything you have logged and ask us for a copy of it.
- Prices in rupees, taxes shown. Any price we publish will say whether GST is included, and the invoice will show it.
- We will never take a percentage of your money. MergeWise does not touch your money, so it cannot charge a cut of it. Any price will be a flat subscription.
- The refund terms will be published on this page before the first rupee is charged. Nobody will be asked to pay under terms they have not read.
A full refund within 7 days of a first payment, no reason needed. After that, you can cancel whenever you like and the plan runs to the end of the period you have already paid for, with no partial refund for the unused part. A charge that was a genuine mistake, ours or yours, gets refunded whenever we find it.
When payments do exist, they will be handled by a licensed payment gateway. We will not see or store your card number, and the gateway will be named on this page and in the privacy policy before it is switched on.
